Eric Tippeconnic likes to combine traditional and modern images in his work to illustrate how Comanches live in both the native and non-native world. This Comanche Beauty wears both a business suit and an eagle feather because her life is shaped by both her native culture and the culture of the modern world. Eric is a professor of history at Cal State Fullerton. His solo exhibition “Comanche Motion” was featured at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in 2018-2019. Eric’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Red Earth Museum and the Oklahoma Supreme Court in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
