The Apostle


Tillier Wesley was a self-taught artist. He began to paint after receiving a gift of paints from a lady in his church. Wesley’s work was included in numerous exhibitions, including exhibitions held at the Aspen/Snowmass Celebration for the American Indian, the American Indian Arts Festival in Houston, Texas, and the Red Earth Festival in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Note the detail in The Apostle’s robe. And the butterfly he is following. The original painting was created in 1990. This print was created by the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.
