Tears of the Past

Mars Biggoose lived in Oklahoma. He graduated from the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, Oklahoma. He designed the Great Ponca Seal of Oklahoma. Biggoose’s work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. His work has been described as poetic in color and for-free flowing spiritual art.
