Mars Biggoose lived in Oklahoma. He graduated from the Institute of American Indian Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He designed the Great Ponca Seal of Oklahoma. Biggoose’s work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. His work has been described as poetic in color and form-free flowing spiritual art.
