Untitled (Native American Abstract Symbols)

Tony Tiger painted this piece in response to a request for a landscape painting. Tony’s description of the painting: “I was allowing myself to explore the concept of abstract imagery contemplating the historic relationship of land and the Native American – physical, mental and spiritual. The symbols represent my tribal heritage of the Seminole, Sac and Fox, and Muscogee Creek as the tribes overlap over time. In recent years I have had the opportunity to travel to the geographical regions of my ancestors. The colors represent my journey during this time and the influence of my outdoor excursions.” Tony is an accomplished artist, art educator, and art curator.
