Kiowa artist Robert Redbird, Jr. was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He is the son of well-known artist Robert Redbird, Sr. and the great-grandson of Monroe Tsatoke, one of the internationally renowned Kiowa Five artists. Redbird, Jr. incorporates bright colors with Native American symbols in his work. His work has been shown in galleries and exhibitions in Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.
