Ken Woodward is a Cherokee artist who works in watercolor, pencil, pen and ink, and scratchboard. He exhibited widely in the Native American Oklahoma art scene in the 1980s and 1990s, before his declining health limited his ability to create. Woodward won numerous awards, including the 1983 and 1990 Indian Heritage Award at the Five Civilized Tribes Museum. Woodward also took first place at the Annual Trail of Tears show in 1994 at the Cherokee National Museum and was given the Cecil Dick Award at the Five Civilized Tribes Museum.
