Dylan Cavin's Ghosts of the Plains is based upon a photograph of Lakota Chief Iron Shell (1816-1896). Dylan lives in Oklahoma. He is an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation. Dylan's work has been shown in numerous museums, including both the New York and Washington, D.C. locations of the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.
