Chad Earles’ work is inspired by his Caddo heritage. He earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Atlanta College of Art. His education and experience as a graphic designer shapes the way he sees and creates work. Earles’ work is often abstract and contemporary, but traditional Caddo pottery designs are usually a dominant theme. Caddo traditions are important to Earles: “Perpetuating Caddo traditions and culture is important to me and can be seen in all I create, whether that be drawings, paintings, silkscreen prints, digital art, murals, drum making or learning to build a Caddo grass house.”
