Brent Learned has created a painting by an Indian artist of an Indian looking at a painting of an Indian artist. Brent paints under his Arapaho name, Haa-Naa-Jaa-Ne-Do, to honor his mother. Brent painted severa paintings of an Indian in a museum looking at a well-known painting by an Indian artist. The Indian in this piece is looking at Grandmother Gestating Father by T.C. Cannon. Brent sent me pictures showing the process he used to paint this piece. Brent was born and raised in Oklahoma. His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C., the Cheyenne/Arapaho Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma, and the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma....

His work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., the Cheyenne/Arapaho Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma, and the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma....
